Schwalbe & Schwalbe

After successfully running STROKE Art Fair together with my younger brother for six years already, more and more comission jobs from various other companies occured. To fit that need without risking the art fair company we both decided to found a spin-off company. As most friends, people and clients knew that we both were brothers - they already called us the "Schwalbe Brothers". Therefore my idea was to call this new company "Schwalbe & Schwalbe".

Even when the name already indicated that we were probably family, i wanted to create something, that separates the two of us within the design to reflect the idea, that there was a significant distinction between the different responsibilities for each brother. I was inspired by the idea, that we were both using the same business card but you had to flip the card to read the full company name.
